It's one of the biggest names in the category, promising brilliant cleaning in just 15 minutes.
So naturally, we were curious.
How would our Non-Bio Laundry Liquid compare?
We asked independent experts at Eurofins Product Testing Services to find out.
Here's what they discovered.
Testing, testing.
The aim was simple.
Compare the cleaning performance of smol Non-Bio Laundry Liquid with Persil Wonder Wash Non Bio under realistic quick wash conditions.
Both products were tested exactly as consumers would use them at home.

So, what were the test results?
smol’s stain removal matched Persil Wonder Wash across both load sizes.
BUT… it gets better.
The testing flagged that smol Laundry Liquid performed particularly well on several everyday stains, including:
On larger loads, smol also showed better performance on stains such as curry and ink.
Keeping whites brighter, wash after wash.
Removing stains is one thing but keeping white clothes looking bright over time is another.
So as part of the testing, white fabric swatches were washed several times to measure how well each detergent kept the material looking white.
In both the small and large loads, Eurofins found smol Non-Bio Laundry Liquid delivered better whiteness than Persil Wonder Wash Non Bio, particularly on cotton-based fabrics.
Less detergent, less chemicals, same brilliant clean.
Each product was tested using its recommended dosage.
